Port of Ridgefield v. Union Pacific Railroad Company

Case No. CV14-6024RBL, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington – Norton A. Colvin, Jr. served on the four-firm team defending Union Pacific Railroad Company in this state-court CERLA contribution claim where the port of Port of Ridgefield sued the Union Pacific Railroad Company for $90 million in alleged out of pocket damages. After a bench trial from November 26, 2018 – December 19, 2018, the Court issued findings of fact and conclusions of law finding that the Union Pacific Railroad Company owed no contribution to the City. No appeal was taken.
