Cause No. 2017-CCL-00665 Uzi Huerta v. Forever 21 Retail, Inc. et al..,

Alison D. Kennamer and Elizabeth Ferguson Herrera represented Forever 21 Retail, Inc. (individual Defendant Gricelda Guerra had been non-suited); Plaintiff suing Forever 21 for premises liability due to a trip and fall.  Two days of trial.  Jury Trial began with federal jury selection on May 20, 2019, followed immediately by opening statements and evidence.  The jury found Forever 21 Retail, Inc. and Uzi Huerta both negligent, 51% to Forever 21 and 49% to Plaintiff, and found $36,000.00 in damages, resulting in a damages award of $18,360.00 plus pre-judgment interest and costs of court.
