Teri L. Danish
Of Counsel
Teri started her time as a contract attorney with the firm during a self-imposed sabbatical in 1999 and became a partner in 2005. She’s an experienced litigator who represents and counsels clients on employment and labor issues. She has significant trial and appellate experience in both state and federal courts and has represented clients before various administrative agencies. Teri has also previously worked as in-house counsel and associate director of human resources for a Fortune 500 Company, managing employment litigation for approximately 40,000 employees, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, arbitrating labor matters, and developing and implementing succession planning policies and procedures. Teri is Board-Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is a past member of the State Bar of Texas Pattern Jury Charge Committee for Labor and Employment, and the governing council for the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. In 2016, Teri decided to follow her passion for sailing and retired from the full-time practice of law and is now Of Counsel to the Firm. She lives six months of the year on her sailboat in the Bahamas and returns to Texas as needed for litigation matters. The rest of the time, she works remotely from wherever she happens to be anchored.
