Partner Lecia L. Chaney and Senior Partner Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez represented Emerson Electric Company and its driver in this fatal 18-wheeler accident case. At the time of trial, which began with jury selection on May 6, 2003, the Emerson Defendants were the only remaining Defendants in the case. After jury selection, the trial judge held two days of court-moderated settlement negotiations, at which time the case settled for a confidential amount.
