Trial Activity

Kenneth Schoenfield v. Union Pacific Railroad Company, Cause No. 2006-CI-05141, in the 150th Judicial District Court of Bexar County, Texas, Judge John Gabriel presiding. Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez was one of five attorneys representing the Union Pacific Railroad Company at trial, with four attorneys "on the other side of the table" representing Plaintiff, in this case involving railroad collision/derailment allegations. Trial began with voir dire on January 28, 2008; however, the initial venire panel lost too many members during the voir dire process for a jury to be empaneled. The parties were called back to pick a jury from a second panel on January 29, 2008. During the day on January 29, 2008, the case settled for a confidential amount.
