Colvin, Jr. remains on the Texas Pattern Jury Charge Oversight Committee. Mitchell C. Chaney is on the Litigation Counsel of America. Jaime A. Saenz remains a member of the Texas Bar Foundation. Marjory C. Batsell is a life fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Marjory C. Batsell has joined the Defense Research Institute. Joseph A. (Tony) Rodriguez has been named as a Texas Association of Defense Counsel Director. Joseph A. (Tony) Rodriguez is continuing to serve among the Officers of the Federal Bar Association, South Texas Chapter, in the position of Brownsville Division Director. Alison D. Kennamer is continuing to serve as a member of the Editorial Board for the Texas Bar Journal. Alison D. Kennamer remains on the Cameron County Bar Association's Local Rules Committee, which turned in proposed new Local Rules to the Cameron County Judiciary in the fall of 2008. Lecia L. Chaney remains a member of the Texas Bar Foundation. Lecia L. Chaney is serving as legal counsel to Good Neighbor Settlement House, the Children's Museum of Brownsville, and Sunshine Haven Hospice House. Teri L. Danish is Chair of the Women and the Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Teri L. Danish is continuing to serve on the Board of the Texas Legal Protection Plan, a Texas State Bar organization that services a potential pre-paid legal services plan for individuals in the State. Teri L. Danish continues to be a member of the Individual Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the State Bar of Texas. Teri L. Danish is the co-chair of the joint Labor and Employment Law Section for the Cameron and Hidalgo County Bar associations. Laura J. Urbis is now serving as President of the Cameron County Bar Association. Laura J. Urbis is serving on the Steering Committee for the Community Justice Program for the Cameron County Bar, which offers a pro-bono divorce clinic for county residents in conjunction with Texas Rural Legal Aid.
